Our promise to donors
Every gift is an act of trust. We promise to use your gift carefully and for the purpose it was given, to treat you with respect, to protect your privacy and to answer your questions honestly.
How you can give
You can give by MTN Mobile Money or bank transfer, using the details on our Donate page. The website itself does not take payments.
Our Mobile Money and bank accounts are held in the name of Grace House Prophetic Chapel. Please check that this name appears before you confirm a transfer.
You can also give your time, skills, goods or services: see Volunteer, Partner with us and Sponsor a project.
How gifts are used
Donations are applied to approved programme and operational needs, in line with the Foundation’s policies and any restrictions set by the donor. Operational needs are the running costs that make our programmes possible.
Gifts for a particular purpose
If you want your gift to support a particular programme, student or need, tell us when you give, using our contact form or by phone. We will apply it to that purpose. If that need has already been met, or the work cannot go ahead, we will contact you to agree another use, or return your gift if you prefer.
Thanking you and confirming your gift
Let us know when you have given, with your name and the amount, so we can thank you and confirm that your gift arrived. We can give you a written acknowledgement of your gift on request.
Giving anonymously
You may give anonymously. We will never publish your name, or the size of your gift, without your permission.
Your privacy
We never sell, rent or trade donors’ personal information. We use your details to record and acknowledge your gift and, if you agree, to tell you about the work you support. Our Privacy Policy explains more.
Mistakes and refunds
If you sent a gift by mistake, or for the wrong amount, contact us as soon as possible. We look at every request fairly, and return gifts sent in error where we can.
Gifts we may decline
We may decline a gift that conflicts with our values or mission, comes with conditions we cannot meet, or that we believe comes from an unlawful source.
Fundraising in our name
Only people we have authorised may ask for money for the Foundation, and we will never ask you to send a gift to an individual’s personal account. If someone asks you to give to the Foundation and you are unsure, call us on +233 559 393 173 before you give.
Accountability
We keep records of the gifts we receive and how they are used. We will publish accountability information as it becomes available.
